| The
GR 11 is a trail through the Pyrenees with a total distance
of 710 km. The trail starts at La Jonquera near the Mediterranean
Sea and goes all the way up to Fuenterrabia at the Atlantic
coast.
In
August 2001 I hiked part of the GR 11 together with two friends
of mine, Jochen and Gunnar. We started in Encamp in Andorra
and finished in La Guingueta one week later.
We
couldn't leave it like that!! One year later.... same place
"La Guingueta". Unfortunately this time our friend
Gunnar couldn't make it. In August 2002 we started in La Guingueta
and reached Benasque 5 days later.
We
had a great but exhausting time!
